Is your habit affecting your work, your relationships, or your health? Then, like the majority of human beings on the planet, you need to know how to break the cycle.
First of all, if you have a bad habit, do not waste time feeling guilty or sorry for yourself. You are in good company. Needing to deal with a repetitive issue that negatively influences you life simply makes you part of the human race. Even the person you view as the most successful individual, with a seemingly perfect life, probably has something that needs changing yesterday.

For example, consider how many people smoke. Although warnings on the label and health advertisements constantly speak of the adverse affects of almost 400 carcinogens in tobacco, individuals still pick up the nasty habit. At first, it may be an act of defiance or an attempt to fit in at school. Unfortunately, a few years later, when you look in the mirror and realize how the daily drags are contaminating your health, it seems too late.

However, it does not have to be irreversible! You can kick even the addictiveness of tobacco in three weeks. If you are really serious about stubbing out the last light and regaining your health, there is a proven system to break the hold of even the worst of habits.

Unfortunately, there is a catch. In order for the program to work successfully, you have to be totally committed to the process. If you only approach even proven advice with half a heart, you will not be able to get rid of the habit. However, if you are really serious, and ready to follow the process to the letter, you will be able to quit smoking in three weeks.

In fact, you can get rid of any habit in less than a month. If you are a procrastinator, say bye-bye to always waiting until the last minute. If you are a work-a-holic say hello to your family and a lot more quality time with the people you love. Whether you tend to chew your fingernails or chew out the ones you love, because you are under so much stress, you can change your ways. Help is available!

So, say goodbye to any bad habit and say hello to freedom from the bondage of something that has been adversely affecting your life. Be happy; be healthy; be more confident; and live a life free of the chains that could be holding you back from a better, healthier even wealthier life.

Overcoming Resistance To Change

Maybe your life can be better, but certain aspects would definitely have to change. If you are like me, change is very difficult. You get stuck in a rut; but, the rut is familiar, and if not perfect, it is comfortable. To pull yourself out of the trenches will require taking you out of your comfort zone and placing you in unfamiliar territory. Like me, you definitely need to learn how to overcome your resistance to change with a life-makeover.
Staying in you comfort zone and being resistant to change will not get you anywhere. If you really want to make your life better, in any aspect, you must accept that not all change is bad. Even if you are doubtful at first, even changes you do not expect can turn out to be great in the long-run. You may not be able to see the positive effects today, but tomorrow could be wonderful.

In order to believe that tomorrow can be great, a life-makeover can teach you to change you thinking, so that everything that changes does not have to be a catastrophe waiting to happen. If you can adjust your conceptions, change can be something exciting to look forward to, on your way to a richer and fuller life.

If you look forward to change, you will not have to resign yourself to your present circumstances. You can be free to take the steps necessary to improve you standard of living, you self-esteem, your relationships, and your hopes and dreams. You do not have to accept the way things are and just go through the motions of living. You can get excited about life again and anticipate each new day with joy.

You can learn how to create each new day with enthusiasm, and let go of the fear related to change. You will learn how to use the new tools provided to find an inner strength you never knew you possessed! You are stronger than you think; and there are people will help you find that strength.

Life is too short. You do not want to go through life saying, "I wish . . ." or "I could have . . ." Inner peace and contentment with life does not drop in your lap. If you want to be happy, you are the only one that can make it so. It is your choice. So, if you want to make your life better, you have to make a concerted effort to overcome your resistance to change.

Role Of Patience In Success

One of the behaviors that most success people have is patience. It dos not matter in what business they are in. People do not know what kind of obstacles and test will come in doing things that will bring him or her to success. We also do not know how long the obstacles and test will keep going on until it is over. We also do not know the obstacle that we faced in the past possibly come again and again. Therefore patience is one the key from giving up to keep trying and move on to next action. Together with desire to achieve your dream and patience to every obstacles you will success.
Not everybody have patience in their behaviors and this is why not everybody succeeds and achieved their goal and dream. Most of the success people faced all sort of obstacles and is sometime very painful. Along the way of painful experience some people start to think their limit. They will say, "that's it, I have enough" or "I can't stand it any more". Then they stop doing anything and their dream is only a day dreams. But what should they do is to analyze their action. What is wrong and what is not enough.

Courage without patience is like a boom. It will kill the dream. They must come together and make yourself become stronger and will face all very painful obstacles. This will make your move on to catch your dreams. Patience will eliminate all the negative thinking and attitude and bring you to success. When both courage and patience are blend together and stronger in your heart, then the success will come easily and sooner. This is the sweetest thing shall happen after the entire bad thing that we gone through. As people say that the medicine may taste bad but it will make sure you getting healthy and having a good life in the end.

Make sure that your dreams are alive in your heart and always be patience to achieve it. If you are not patience in realizing your dream it is like you are picking flower that is still young then you will never get the nice smell from it. But if you are patience and you wait for it to become a blooming flower then you pick it, you shall have the best smell and aroma.

Sometime we do become impatience when thing happen not as expected. How to overcome it? It must be overcome as soon as possible before it turns to virus that will kill your dreams. In a simple way express your self by saying "Ahh!!!, this problem will not continue forever". Say it with your mouth and your heart. Believing the problem will end some day and will get to your success.

However do not only saying it and keep doing the same thing without analyzing the problem or obstacle. To become successful you need to think and review back what went wrong and why you cannot get the expected result.

So, to all out there to become successful is not cheap, there is a price to pay or obstacle to face. In order to keep you alive with your dreams, patience is one of the key.

Be patience and you will be at the top.

The Essence Of Success

You will not be able to succeed or achieve anything significant in your life without having motivation, the fuel that pushes you to get things done. You will either remain where you are at now, or you will progress through life at a slow pace.
You need motivation to get out of bed, to go to work, to exercise, to go to a movie. You also need motivation to help you quit any habits that you do not want, such as quitting smoking or alcohol.

You need a certain level of motivation to do everything in life. Motivation is central for personal and professional success, and in all areas of your life.

For you to be successful in any chosen area, you will need to be motivated to take consistent action. It is your motivation that will drive you to take action to succeed in all that you do.

So how do you acquire motivation? Your primary step is to set yourself a few goals. Decide on what areas you want to improve on and what it is that you want to improve or have.

It is important to note that you must make these goals realistic and achievable, yet not easy to attain; they must require some effort on your part.

For example, in your financial area, for you to set a goal to have an income of £1M in one year where your present income is £25,000 makes the goal unrealistic. It is best to increment your goals realistically until you achieve your goal of £1M.

By setting yourself very high goals you may set yourself up for failure and disappointment. Make sure your goals are achievable, yet they allow you to stretch yourself to get the job done.

Once you have decided on your goals, write them down by hand and read them on a daily basis; or even better, write each goals 10 times every morning upon awakening and last thing before bed. This way you are constantly reminding yourself, consciously and unconsciously, what you are striving for.

For added motivational power, set yourself a deadline for when you want to achieve each goal. Again in your financial area, your goal could be, "I am earning £5,000 or more every month by 31st December, 2008."

This goal is realistic and it excites you, it motivates you, it pushes you to do what it takes to achieve it. An exciting goal is a great and very powerful motivator.

Your next step is for you to be committed to keep after these goals until they are achieved. Keep your goals in sight, feel what it would be like to have achieved your goals.

Keep pushing yourself. Never give in. Never look back on any failures, or as I call them 'success gone astray.' Should you have a setback, learn all that you can from it and move on. This setback has given you the opportunity to know what did not work, and that is a step in the right direction. Now you can try out another strategy or action.

Learn from your mistakes, but do not dwell on them. Regain your motivation by reminding yourself of your goals and how much they mean to you; why you must have the goals.

A powerful way to keep you motivated is to reward yourself every time you take a step up the ladder of success on the way to the top, where your goal awaits you. By rewarding yourself you keep the momentum of your motivation going strong and gaining in strength with every step you take.

Remember, you can be motivated to be successful in all that you do when you set realistic goals, and your purpose to reaching your goals is powerful enough to keep you committed to the end.

By becoming and remaining motivated you will achieve what it is that you are after.

So if you are stuck where you are and you wonder why you have not progressed to achieve a better quality of life, it could be due to your lack motivation.

Initiate and boost your motivation by knowing what it is that you want, set a few goals with deadlines and go for it. Keep in mind, motivation is driven by passion and purpose. Find your passion and purpose and commit to it.

Developing Positive Thinking

Everyone has goals. And you are probably no exceptions. You may have work and career-related goals like promotions, expanded responsibilities, and recognition as an expert in your industry. These are all fine, but be sure you don't just focus on your job. Many people come to identify their success in life by their position in their job and the recognition they get there. If they become disabled or sick, or if they retire, they suddenly find that they don't know themselves anymore. They have no identity at work so they don't know who they are. They may have lost family and friends or have become strangers to these people, unaware of the important events that happened at home while they were at work.
So, they have to get to know themselves and their loved ones all over again. For some, this is an impossible task.

Be sure you set personal goals, family goals and general goals in your life for growth and happiness. Whether it is going on for a Masters Degree in the fine art you love, learning how to fly a plane, or playing the piano, you should have goals that keep you involved in other parts of your life.

Try writing your goals for each day and make number 1 focusing on happy thoughts for 5 minutes. Whatever you know you need to do for that single day, write it on your list. Time management is such a simple tool that really can make a difference to our happiness but most people just don't utilize it.

Tick items off as you do them and this will make you feel a sense of achievement and happiness.

At the end of the day be thankful for all you managed to get done. Feel pleased with yourself and give yourself a pat on the back for jobs well done. The more you do this, the more it will come naturally and the happier you'll feel.

Occasionally something will come up that has to take a priority and be dealt with quickly. Just add it to your list, get on with it and then tick it off.

What if there are items still on your list, at the end of the day? Don't get stressed about it just schedule them for tomorrow. You don't even need to work through the list methodically from 1 to ? - just do what you can, when you can and cross it off. You'll soon learn just how much you can really do in a single day and then you'll make your lists accordingly. Most of us start off writing long lists of things to do and sometimes get frustrated that we can never finish everything - be realistic. Your lists will never end - there'll always be something that you need to do even if it's sitting down to watch your favourite TV show.

Everyone already knows that having a sense of humor always helps us get through the day. It's always better to be able to laugh your way through difficulties but it's not so easy, for some, to be able to do! Consider this though - how often has stress and anger stopped you from thinking clearly and being able to solve any problem? Most people just 'give up' and think that's that only to find, that a couple of days later, the answer dawns on them when they weren't even thinking about the problem anymore.

Why? Because as soon as they stop stressing about it, their mind is still quietly working away on finding a solution and as soon as it finds it, it throws it into your conscious mind. Now at this point most people make the mistake of completely ignoring the solution because they've moved on to another set of problems!

You need to start by deciding what is really a problem - most people think everything is a problem nowdays! Even trying to work out when you can take a 15 minute coffee break is considered a problem and what you'll wear for that night out Saturday, is considered a problem. Come on people - these are not really problems yet you're allowing them to fill up your mind and use valuable disc space. Forget the chatter stuff that's going through your head and start asking yourself the right questions. When the answer, to your real problem(s) pops into your mind you need to be ready to act on it.

We all want to follow what our heart desires but all too often our heart's desire changes hourly and our poor minds just don't know what it is you actually want. This morning it's a 15 minute coffee break. This afternoon it's a new sports car that you saw go by whilst waiting at the bus stop on your way home from work. This evening it's just a quiet evening with no interruptions. Tomorrow it's that the boss will give you a hefty pay rise. Next week it's a fancy holiday to an exotic location. Next month it's a new home. The lists go on and on.......

We're all guilty of it but you really need to learn to focus and differentiate between day dreams, wishes and real goals and solutions to real problems. Let the chatter go on quietly in the background but make sure you ask yourself the main question each and every day until you get the answer you need.

It does take courage to face your fears but if you ever want to conquer them and deal with them then you really must face them and the sooner the better. Stop letting life just happen to you! Take control, deal with what really needs dealing with and stop sweating the small stuff that really isn't as important as you may have initially thought.

Appreciate and be grateful for what you already have rather than worrying about what you don't have.

Remember art of positive thinking is one of the best things you can learn to do and it actually works. It really is possible for you to really begin changing you life using 'mind over matter'. Start seeing life differently!
